Winter Donations

It’s getting cold, there’s a cost of living crisis, there’s a need to “heat the human and not the home” and money is tight.  You could help with the following:

  • Fleeces

  • Socks

  • Gloves and hats

  • Hoodies

  • Food: Porridge, pasta & sauces, soups, weetabix

  • Basics: UHT, fruit, yoghurt, cheese

  • Tinned: Tomatoes, beans, sweetcorn, tuna & puddings

  • Treats: Flapjacks, sugar, jams, syrup, honey, marmite

  • Clean blankets and linen

  • Medicinal: Sudacrem, clove oil, Vicks, moisturising cream,

  • Cleanliness: deodrant, soap, wetwipes, toothpaste, toothbrush

  • Sim Cards

  • Vouchers for food

  • Gift Vouchers

  • Sanitary items – period pads, tampons, incontinence pads

  • Self-care items – deodrants, moisturisor, shampoo & conditioner, soaps, etc

  • Food for the community box

Items we cannot accept

  • Electrical items.
  • Furniture.
  • Soiled items
  • Bulky items
  • Crockery
  • Glass wear
  • Toys
  • Clothing not listed above or specifically requested via Facebook.

All these items can be donated to charity shops.

Items required for setting up homes can be found on numerous Facebook pages that offer furniture, etc, either free or cheap.
